Shoshana Neuer’s exceptional leadership after 30 + years as a beloved Director of CPE Hebrew Academy and educator left an enduring impact on our school and the entire Hebrew Academy community. Shoshana built a nurturing environment where every child could thrive, her passion for education has been evident in everything she touched. A true educator at heart; she saw the unique qualities in every child, nurturing their strengths and making each one feel special and valued. Her ability to connect with children on a personal level allowed them to shine in ways they didn’t even know were possible. Shoshana believes in every child and makes learning come alive, fostering both confidence and joy in the classroom.

Her educational approach was anything but ordinary. Through imaginative lessons, she sparked curiosity and excitement, whether by guiding students as they raised caterpillars and releasing them as butterflies or by encouraging them to paint like great artists and proudly showcase their work at their spectacular vernissage. Through these creative experiences, Shoshana inspired curiosity and a lifelong love of learning.

Beyond the classroom, Shoshana’s thoughtful leadership and chesed has touched countless families within our community. She has always gone above and beyond, providing quiet, thoughtful support whenever it was needed. Whether offering assistance to a family or lending a helping hand without hesitation, Shoshana’s generosity and care were always given with humility and grace.
